880875-B21 is an HPE SATA solid-state option built from 150GB M.2 modules, Read Intensive, mounted on a smart carrier that converts the micro form factor (uFF) M.2 module to a 2.5-inch small form factor (SFF) hot-plug carrier (SCM). The PartSurfer option name says DUAL 150GB. Its spare, 882402-001, is described as a hot-plug SATA SSD, Read Intensive (RI), M.2 micro form factor to SFF smart carrier (SCM) with digitally signed firmware.
What makes it different from the 150GB option 875317-B21 is the carrier: that one is a bare M.2 2280 stick on a standard carrier, while this one presents the M.2 module as a hot-plug small form factor drive. PartSurfer lists spare 882402-001 as used in DL385 Gen10 Mod-X (8SFF and 24SFF) CTO servers. HPE puts Read Intensive on the read-driven side of its workload split: boot, web serving, social media and read caching.
