Cisco's ASA 5500-X data sheet lists ASA5500X-SSD120= as the Cisco ASA 5512-X through 5555-X 120 GB MLC SED SSD, the spare drive for that generation of appliances. SED marks a self-encrypting drive, and the description covers the smaller 5512-X and 5515-X as well as the 5525-X, 5545-X and 5555-X.
The same data sheet's comparison table shows how many drives each model takes: the 5525-X has one SSD slot, while the 5545-X and 5555-X have two slots configured as RAID 1. Firewall Edition bundles such as the ASA5525-SSD120-K9 and ASA5545-2SSD120-K9 ship with the drives fitted.
The drives matter for FirePOWER: Cisco orders the ASA 5545-X and 5555-X with FirePOWER Services with 2 SSDs and the 5525-X version with one. An appliance bought without a drive needs this part before FirePOWER services can be installed.
Check the model's slot count, and on a 5545-X or 5555-X order two drives to keep the RAID 1 pair matched.
