C9300-48UB-E is the Network Essentials version of Cisco's 48-port higher-scale Catalyst 9300: 48 Cisco UPOE copper ports with a 32 MB packet buffer, double the 16 MB Cisco lists for the standard 48-port Gigabit 9300.
It ships with a PWR-C1-1100WAC-P and 822 W for PoE. With a second supply, Cisco lists 1,172 W (350 W), 1,537 W (715 W) and a design limit of 1,800 W (1100 W or 1900 W).
Performance is 256 Gbps of switching, 736 Gbps across a stack, at 190.48 Mpps. The modular slot takes the C9300-NM-4G, -4M, -8X, -2Q or -2Y uplink module.
Stacking runs over StackWise-480, but only with other higher-scale models on the same licence: Cisco does not support mixing the 24UB, 24UXB and 48UB with standard 9300 or 9300X switches.
The Advantage twin is C9300-48UB-A. If the stack you are adding to is made of standard switches, C9300-48U-E is the regular 48-port UPOE model that will join it. Both sit on our Cisco Catalyst switch hub.
