This PN provides one 2.5 inch Small Form Factor (SFF) 600GB Hot Swappable Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 10000 RPM HDD (Hard Disk Drive) This Dell 8WP8W drive is compatible with the Dell EMC PowerVault MD34XX/38XX Series.
Compatibility and specifications
Dell's MD34XX/38XX (Rev. A25) and MD32XX/36XX (Rev. A24) support matrices list 8WP8W as the Hitachi HUC106060CSS600: 600 GB, 10K, 2.5-inch, non-SED, firmware A440 in both. It is not in the MD3060e enclosure matrix, whereas the Hitachi HUC1090 drives on our site, the 300 GB CXF82 and 900 GB H5WGN, are listed there on firmware N440. To confirm fit, read 8WP8W and HUC106060CSS600 on the label; the 24-bay 2.5-inch models in those matrices are the MD3420, MD3820i, MD3820f, MD3220, MD3220i, MD3620i and MD3620f.
