IE-3000-4TC is a Cisco Industrial Ethernet 3000 Series switch with four 10/100 Ethernet ports and two dual-purpose uplinks. Each uplink has a 10/100/1000 copper port and an SFP-based Gigabit port, with only one active at a time. It supports up to two expansion modules, either two IEM-3000-8FM= modules or one IEM-3000-8TM= and one IEM-3000-8FM=.
It ships with the Layer 2 LAN Base image. The Layer 3 variant is IE-3000-4TC-E with the IP Services image, and IE-SW-SPARE is the spare software upgrade for Layer 2 to Layer 3 features.
DC input is 18 to 60 VDC and maximum power consumption is 15.1 W. The switch has 128 MB of DRAM and 64 MB of Compact Flash, a 16 Gbps switching fabric and a forwarding rate of 6.5 Mpps for 64-byte packets. It learns up to 8,000 MAC addresses at Layer 2. Jumbo frames reach 9018 bytes on the Gigabit uplink.
