00WG777 is the SBB number that Lenovo's Configuration and Options Guide lists for option 00WG775, the Intel S3510 240GB Enterprise Entry SATA HS 3.5" SSD, feature code AT98.
The S3510 line uses Intel 16 nm MLC NAND on a 6 Gbps SATA interface with Intel Standard Endurance Technology. Lenovo lists AES 256-bit encryption, full end-to-end data path protection, enhanced power loss data protection, thermal throttling and 5.6 W typical power.
Endurance is 0.3 drive writes per day for five years, or 140 TB written for the 240GB drive. The specification table gives 68,000 read and 20,000 write IOPS on 4 KB blocks, 500 MBps sequential read, 460 MBps sequential write and 2,000,000 hours MTBF.
Lenovo positions the S3510 for read-intensive work such as boot, web servers and lower data rate operational databases and analytics. All S3510 drives in the guide are withdrawn from marketing.
System x support for the 3.5-inch S3510 in the guide: x3100 M5, x3550 M5 (5463) and x3650 M5 (5462). The options guide also lists it for the x3500 M5 (5464).
Fit check: a 3.5-inch hot-swap SATA bay in a listed server and a label reading 00WG775, 00WG777 or AT98. 00WG782 is the 480GB S3510 drive, and 00YC342 is the higher-endurance S3710 drive for the same bays.
