Option 00YC420 is Lenovo's 960GB Enterprise Entry SATA HS 3.5" SSD, feature code AT8Y, with SBB 00YC422 in the January 2017 options guide. Lenovo based its PM863 Enterprise Entry family on the Samsung PM863, built with 32-layer V-NAND.
At 960GB Lenovo rates it at 1,400 TB written, or 0.8 drive writes per day for five years, with 99,000 random read and 18,000 random write IOPS, 520 MBps sequential read and 475 MBps sequential write, 106/52 microsecond random latency and 2.9 W read / 3.8 W write power over 6 Gbps SATA.
Entry class drives trade endurance for cost per gigabyte, so this one is meant for read-mostly data such as web content, boot volumes and read caches.
Lenovo marks it supported in the x3100 M5, x3250 M5, x3500 M5, x3550 M5 (5463 and 8869) and x3650 M5 (5462 and 8871), and in the x3650 M4 (E5-2600 v2) and x3650 M4 BD. Up to 14 fit in the x3650 M5, 4 in the x3550 M5 and 6 in the x3650 M4.
Fit check: this is a 3.5-inch drive, so it goes in LFF bays only. 00WG772 is the 120GB Entry drive on the same tray, and 00YC395 is the 480GB PM863 model for 2.5-inch G3HS bays.
