Cisco lists the N3K-C3232C as the Nexus 3232C, a 1RU fixed switch with 32 QSFP28 ports. Every port runs at 10, 25, 40, 50 or 100 Gbps, and each can split into 4 x 25 Gbps for up to 128 ports at 25 Gbps. Switching capacity is 6.4 Tbps, up to 3.3 billion packets per second, at wire rate on all ports for packets over 200 bytes, with latency of about 450 ns, a 16 MB shared buffer and jumbo frames to 9216 bytes.
Management is by one 10/100/1000 Mbps port, an RS-232 console and two USB ports. The control plane has a four-core CPU, 8 GB of system memory and 64 GB of boot flash. It runs Cisco NX-OS and takes the Nexus 9000 licensing scheme. Cisco gives 4,096 VLANs, 128,000 longest-prefix-match routes and 256 EtherChannels with vPC, up to 32 ports per EtherChannel.
Cooling is four hot-swap fans in 3+1 redundancy, NXA-FAN-30CFM-F for port-side exhaust or NXA-FAN-30CFM-B for port-side intake. Power comes from two redundant AC supplies, NXA-PAC-650W-PE (port-side exhaust) or NXA-PAC-650W-PI (port-side intake), rated 100 to 240 VAC. Typical draw is 205 W and maximum 402 W.
The chassis is 1.72 x 17.3 x 22.4 in (4.4 x 43.9 x 56.8 cm) and weighs 22.2 lb (10.06 kg). Operating temperature is 0 to 40 C. The spare number is N3K-C3232C=.
For other Nexus models see the Cisco switches category, for example the Nexus 9336C-FX2 36-port 40/100G switch.
