HPE's DL380 Gen10 QuickSpecs list P02496-B21 as the Intel Xeon-Gold 5215 (2.5GHz/10-core/85W) Processor Kit for HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10, under the 2nd Generation Intel Xeon-Gold core options. The factory-integrated version is P02496-L21.

The QuickSpecs processor table rates the Gold 5215 at 2.5 GHz with 10 cores, 13.75 MB of L3 cache and 85 W TDP. It has two UPI links at 10.4 GT/s, supports DDR4 at 2666 MT/s and is listed with 1 TB of memory per socket. The 5215M and 5215L variants share the clock, core count and TDP but are listed with 2 TB and 4.5 TB per socket.

HPE's ordering steps call for one -L21 processor for the first socket and the same model with the -B21 suffix for the second. The QuickSpecs note that this kit does not ship with the Performance Heatsink, and that field upgrades from 1st generation x1xx processors to 2nd generation x2xx processors are not supported.

HPE PartSurfer lists three parts in the kit: the P11610-001 processor, the 875070-001 standard heat sink and the 875075-001 standard fan module.

Fit check: pair it only with another Xeon-Gold 5215 in the same server.
