In the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 QuickSpecs, P02498-B21 is the Intel Xeon-Gold 5218 (2.3GHz/16-core/125W) Processor Kit, and P02498-L21 is the FIO kit for factory installation.
The Gold 5218 has 16 cores at 2.3 GHz, 22 MB of L3 cache and a 125 W TDP. It connects over two UPI links at 10.4 GT/s and supports DDR4 at 2666 MT/s with 1 TB of memory per socket.
The QuickSpecs list a 5218B with the same clock, cores, cache and TDP. HPE notes that the 5218B is from a different die, and that mixing 5218B and 5218 processors in one system is not supported. The 5218R, kit P24466-B21, is a separate 20-core 2.1 GHz model.
HPE also offered a North America BTO server built on this processor: the DL380 Gen10 5218 2.3GHz 16-core 1P 192GB-R P408i-a 8SFF 800W PS Server.
HPE PartSurfer lists the kit contents as the P11612-001 processor, the 875070-001 standard heat sink and the 875075-001 standard fan module, and the QuickSpecs state that the kit does not ship with the Performance Heatsink.
Fit check: do not pair it with a 5218B in the other socket.
The 5218R kit P24466-B21 is a separate 20-core 2.1 GHz model, so check which you need; P02497-B21 is another kit in HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 spare parts.
