Cisco PWR-C1-715WAC-P 715 W AC Platinum Power Supply for Catalyst 9300

The 715 W Platinum-rated AC power supply for the Catalyst 9300 family. Cisco lists it for the C9300, C9300L and C9300X switches; the non-Platinum PWR-C1-715WAC fits the C9300 and C9300L but not the 9300X, so check the switch model before choosing between them. Neither fits the C9300LM. Input is autoranging 100 to 240 VAC.

It is the default supply on the PoE+ and fiber models: C9300-24P, C9300-48P, C9300-24S, C9300-48S, C9300X-48TX, C9300X-24Y, C9300X-12Y and the C9300L-24P and C9300L-48P variants. On a C9300-48P, one 715 W unit gives a 437 W PoE budget, and adding a 350 W second supply raises it to 787 W. The 1100 W unit is the default on UPOE models.

Like the other C1 modules it has an internal fan and is hot-swappable, with AC OK and PS OK LEDs that show green when healthy. Cisco supports mixing Platinum and non-certified modules in one switch. Do not run the switch with one bay empty: fill it with a second supply or a blank cover.

A DC version exists as the PWR-C1-715WDC. On the non-PoE C9300-24T and C9300-48T, the default is a 350 W supply, and Cisco lists the 715 W unit as an upgrade option there. To identify a module, read the PID on its label: the -P suffix marks the Platinum version.
