Cisco STACK-T1-1M 1 m Data Stacking Cable for Catalyst 9300

The 1 m length of Cisco's STACK-T1 data stacking cable, used to join Catalyst 9300 Series switches into a single stack. Cisco lists the STACK-T1 family for both the C9300 and the C9300X, and offers it in 50 cm, 1 m and 3 m lengths.

The extra length over the 50 cm STACK-T1-50CM is useful when switches are not in neighbouring rack units, or when the cable has to close the stack ring from the bottom switch back up to the top one. For switches split across racks, the 3 m STACK-T1-3M is the longer option.

The cable does not set the stack speed. A stack of standard C9300 switches runs StackWise-480 at 480 Gbps; a stack of C9300X switches runs StackWise-1T at 1 Tbps; and a mixed 9300 and 9300X stack falls back to StackWise-480. Up to eight switches can be stacked.

Some 9300 models need other cables. The fixed-uplink C9300L uses STACK-T3 cables with the C9300L-STACK-KIT, or STACK-T3A with the C9300L-STACK-KIT2, and the Catalyst 9200 uses STACK-T4 cables. Higher-scale 9300 models such as the C9300-48UB can only stack with other higher-scale switches.

Before ordering, measure the path between the stack ports on the rear of the switches, allowing for cable management, and confirm each switch is a C9300 or C9300X.
