Cisco C3850-4PT-KIT Catalyst 3850 Four-Point Mounting Extension Rails and Brackets

C3850-4PT-KIT is Cisco's rail kit for mounting a Catalyst 3850 by all four rack posts. The data sheet lists it as "Extension rails and brackets for four-point mounting for Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series", orderable as spare C3850-4PT-KIT=.

Cisco lists it with the other 3850 spare accessories, the C3850-ACC-KIT= accessory kit and the C3850-RAC-KIT= rack mount kit.

Every 3850 is 1.75 in high and 17.5 in wide, but depth varies by model. Cisco gives 17.7 in (45.0 cm) for the 24T, 48T, 24P, 48P and the SFP models, 19.2 in (48.8 cm) for the 48F, 24U, 48U, 24XU and 12X48U, and 20.1 in (51.1 cm) for the 48XS. Shipped weights run from 12.9 lb for the 12XS to 17.6 lb for the 48F, 48U and multigigabit units, with one power supply fitted.

Fit check: confirm the switch is a Catalyst 3850, since Cisco lists the kit for that series only. Switches it suits include the WS-C3850-48P-S and WS-C3850-24P-S; the Cisco Catalyst 2960, 3850 and 9300 hub covers the rest of the family.
