The full-PoE 24-port model with 10G uplinks in the Cisco Catalyst 1300 Series. It has 24 x 10/100/1000 copper ports with 802.3af and 802.3at (PoE+) power and 4 x 10G SFP+ uplinks. The PoE budget is 370 W in Cisco's ordering table and 375 W in its specification table, roughly double the 195 W of the P models.
Switching capacity is 128 Gbps and the forwarding rate is 95.23 Mpps. Unlike the 24-port P models it has a fan, rated at 39 dBA at 25°C. Worst-case draw is 40.9 W without PoE and 454.2 W at full PoE load, with 1548.8 BTU/hr of heat. It weighs 4.92 kg, and Cisco quotes an MTBF of 389,607 hours.
It is one of the stackable 1300 models: up to eight units and 400 ports can be managed as one, with the stack running over 10 Gigabit Ethernet fiber interfaces. Software includes IPv4 and IPv6 routing, RIP v2, policy-based routing and a DHCP server, with management by web UI, CLI, SNMP or Cisco Business Dashboard.
Siblings: the C1300-24P-4X has the same 10G uplinks and stacking but a 195 W budget and no fan; the C1300-24P-4G keeps 195 W with 1G uplinks and no stacking.
Choose this model when a closet feeds many PoE+ access points or cameras: 370 W covers twelve devices at the full 30 W class.
