HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen10 Hot Plug SFF with RPS Enablement Kit CTO Server, 877626-B21

877626-B21 is the configure-to-order (CTO) base for the HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen10 tower server with an 8 SFF hot-plug drive cage and redundant power supply (RPS) enablement. HPE's ML350 Gen10 QuickSpecs lists three CTO bases: 877625-B21 (4 LFF), 877626-B21 (8 SFF tower) and 877627-B21 (8 SFF rack).

According to the QuickSpecs, this base has two processor sockets with no processors included, 24 DIMM slots and eight PCIe Gen3 slots (x16, x8, x16, x8, x16, x8, x16, x8). Slots 5 to 8 need the second processor. Storage starts with the embedded S100i software RAID (14 SATA ports), with HPE modular Smart Array (AROC) or PCIe controllers as options. Networking is an embedded 4 x 1GbE 369i adapter, which HPE says does not support 10 or 100 Mb/s. The base ships with two standard fans, a Flex Slot RPS cage with power distribution board, iLO with Intelligent Provisioning and six USB ports plus a front iLO service port.

Up to two more drive cages fit, for three cages in total. There are two half-height media bays and an optional optical drive. The tower can be converted to rack mounting with the 874578-B21 tower-to-rack kit.

Because it is CTO, a used unit's processors, memory, controller and power supplies depend on how it was built. Check the installed parts list. PartSurfer's spare list for this base is long and includes the bezel (879164-001), many network adapters and the 260 mm 96W Smart Storage Battery (871266-001).
