Cisco Catalyst 9400 3200 W AC Power Supply

C9400-PWR-3200AC is the Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series 3200 W AC-input power supply, rated at 3200 W maximum output. Cisco gives two input ranges: low-line 85 to 132 VAC (115 VAC nominal) and high-line 180 to 264 VAC (230 VAC nominal), at 47 to 63 Hz.

Maximum input current is 17.6 A, power factor is at least 0.95 at 3200 W load, and holdup time is at least 20 ms. The power cord ends in an IEC60320 C19 connector and runs 3.0 to 4.293 m (9.84 to 14 ft); the North American 20 A, 125 VAC cordset is CAB-US520-C19-US. Each supply needs its own dedicated fused branch circuit, 20 A in North America.

At 3200 W output the supply dissipates 948.86 BTU/hr, and it weighs 5.0 lb (2.3 kg).

The C9400-PWR-2100AC is a smaller supply with a 2112 W maximum, 11.44 A input current and 460.0 BTU/hr heat, on a 15 A North American branch. The C9400-PWR-3200DC delivers the same 3200 W from -40 to -72 VDC, weighs 6.6 lb (3.0 kg) and has an 8 ms holdup time.
