Lenovo lists 4XB7A17125 (feature code BA7Q) as the ThinkSystem 2.5-inch S4620 480GB Mixed Use SATA 6Gb HS SSD. Lenovo introduced it as one of the new Intel S4620 drive options. The interface is 6Gbps SATA, and the drive has no SED encryption.
At 480GB Lenovo rates endurance at 4.7 drive writes per day, which is 4.2 PB written, with an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours and data reliability better than 1 unrecoverable bit error in 10^17 bits read.
Lenovo's figures for this capacity are 85,000 random read IOPS and 48,000 random write IOPS at 4 KB, with sequential reads of 550 MBps and sequential writes of 500 MBps at 128 KB. Sequential latency is 36 microseconds both ways, and random latency is 103 microseconds for reads and 43 for writes. Typical active-write power is 3.0 W.
