C1300-8P-E-2G is a Cisco Catalyst 1300 managed switch with eight Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports and two Gigabit copper/SFP combo ports, ten ports in all. The two combo ports are the uplinks, and one of each pair is active at a time.
All eight copper ports supply PoE, at up to 30 W per port (PoE+), from a 67 W budget. Cisco rates the switch at 20 Gbps of switching capacity and 14.88 Mpps of forwarding with 64 byte packets. The packet buffer is 1.5 MB, shared dynamically, and the MAC table holds 16,000 addresses.
The switch is fanless. System power is 13.04 W at 110 V and 13.33 W at 220 V, rising to 87.89 W and 84.86 W with PoE loaded; idle draw is 7.76 W and 7.46 W. Heat dissipation is 299.91 BTU/hr. It measures 268 x 185 x 43.94 mm (10.55 x 7.28 x 1.73 in) and weighs 1.72 kg (3.79 lb).
