MS125-48LP is the Cisco Meraki MS125 model with 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports, four 10G SFP+ uplink ports and one dedicated management interface. It provides Layer 2 access switching, is managed through the Meraki Dashboard, and can power devices over PoE and PoE+ with a 370 W budget. Power supply is built in.
Switching capacity is 176 Gbps. The chassis is a 1U rack-mount unit with front or mid mounting, measuring 1.73 x 17.32 x 13.38 in. (4.4 x 44 x 34 cm) and weighing 11.9 lb (5.4 kg). Power load is 40.2 W at idle and 439.8 W at maximum, and humidity tolerance is 5% to 95%.
Dashboard features include remote packet capture, automatic firmware upgrades, SNMP and syslog integration, IPv4 and IPv6 ACLs, 802.1Q VLAN tagging, DHCP snooping and 802.1X authentication. The MS125 line has five models: the MS125-24, MS125-24P, MS125-48, MS125-48LP and MS125-48FP, and the MS125-48FP raises the PoE budget to 740 W.
The SFP+ uplinks take Meraki modules, and the MA-SFP-10GB-SR is compatible with the MS125, reaching 26 m on OM1 and 82 m on OM2 multimode fiber. The MS125 supports the MA-SFP-10GB-ER between 0 and 35 degrees Celsius at 10,000 feet.
