The WS-C3560CX-8XPD-S is a compact Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX switch with eight PoE+ output ports: six 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two multigigabit Ethernet ports. Its uplinks are two 10G SFP+ ports, and the internal power supply provides a 240 W PoE budget. The uplinks cannot power the switch.
Forwarding bandwidth is 46 Gbps, switching bandwidth is 92 Gbps full duplex, and the 64-byte forwarding rate is 68.4 Mpps. Memory is 512 MB of DRAM and 128 MB of flash.
The switch ships with IP Base. IP Services is available as a right-to-use upgrade with the L-C3560CX-RTU= licence.
AC input is 100 to 240 VAC at 3.25 to 1.5 A. The power rating is 290 W (0.31 KVA, 1057.71 BTU), with 35.2 W measured at 100 percent throughput and 285.1 W at maximum PoE load.
The chassis measures 1.75 x 10.6 x 10.4 in (4.44 x 26.9 x 26.4 cm) and weighs 6.0 lb (2.72 kg). The eight-port 1G sibling WS-C3560CX-8PC-S uses the same compact family without the multigigabit ports.
