The N3K-C31108TC-V is the Cisco Nexus 31108TC-V switch of the Nexus 3100-V platform, with 48 fixed 10GBASE-T RJ-45 ports that support 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps, and six fixed QSFP28 ports that each support 40 Gbps, 100 Gbps or four 10 Gbps lanes.
The right-most QSFP ports run in either 100G/40G or 40G/4x10G mode, and changing the mode requires a reboot. Switching capacity is 2.16 Tbps and the forwarding rate is up to 1.2 bpps, at line rate for Layer 2 and Layer 3 on all ports, with a 16 MB shared buffer.
The CPU is a 2.5 GHz dual-core x86 with 16 GB of system memory and a 64 GB SSD for boot flash.
The switch has two redundant power supplies. Typical operating power is 260 W and maximum power is 470 W, with 887 BTU/hr typical and 1603 BTU/hr maximum heat dissipation. AC input is 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz.
Cooling is by redundant (3+1), hot-swappable fans, which must be replaced within one minute, in forward (port-side exhaust) or reverse (port-side intake) airflow. The chassis is 1.72 x 17.3 x 22.3 in (4.4 x 43.9 x 56.6 cm) and weighs 22.0 lb (10 kg). A 10GBASE-T sibling in an earlier Nexus generation is the N3K-C3172TQ-10GT.
