IBM feature #AC8F is a 3.2TB 2.5 Inch Flash Drive for machine type 2077, the IBM Storwize V5030F all-flash array. It is available for the control enclosure Model AF3 and the expansion enclosure Model AFF.
The Model AF3 control enclosure has two node canisters, each with a 6-core processor and 32 GB of cache, 10 Gb iSCSI (copper) connectivity as standard and 12 Gb SAS ports for expansion attachment. Both enclosures are 2U, 19-inch rack-mount units with 24 slots for 2.5-inch SFF SAS flash drives. The V5030F supports 400 GB, 800 GB, 1.6 TB and 3.2 TB flash drives, along with 1.92 TB and 3.84 TB drives. The drives are dual-port and hot-swappable, and different capacities can be intermixed within an enclosure.
A V5030F system scales to 504 drives with 20 expansion enclosures, and two-way clustering raises the limit to 1,008 drives. The 3.2 TB drive for machine type 2078 is feature #AC9F, and the other 2077 flash drive features are #AC8C (400 GB), #AC8D (800 GB), #AC8E (1.6 TB), #ACM0 (1.92 TB) and #ACM1 (3.84 TB).
