H8DVC is a Dell 300GB 15K 2.5-inch SAS 6Gb/s hard drive. Dell pairs DPN H8DVC with Seagate model ST9300653SS. It is a 300GB, 15K drive that is not self-encrypting, and it is used in the Dell EMC PowerVault MD12XX Enclosure, the Dell Storage MD14xx Enclosure (512n), the Dell EMC PowerVault MD32XX/36XX Series and the Dell EMC PowerVault MD34XX/38XX Series.

ST9300653SS is the standard model of the 300GB Savvio 15K.3. Its self-encrypting counterpart is ST9300553SS and its FIPS 140-2 counterpart is ST9300453SS, so the standard model is the one without Self-Encrypting Drive features. It is a 6Gb/s SAS drive with a 600 MB/s external transfer speed, a 15K spindle, 64 MB multisegmented cache, 2.0 ms average latency and 2.6 ms read and 3.1 ms write average seek. Sustained transfer runs from 202 MB/s at the outer diameter to 151 MB/s at the inner.
