This PN provides one 3.5 inch Large Form Factor (LFF) 1TB Hot Swappable Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 7200 RPM HDD (Hard Disk Drive) This Dell GWD7D drive is compatible with the Dell EMC PowerVault MD34XX/38XX Series.
Compatibility and specifications
Dell lists GWD7D as the Seagate ST1000NM0005, 1 TB, 7.2K, 3.5-inch and non-SED, with firmware MS06 in both the MD34XX/38XX matrix (Rev. A25) and the MD32XX/36XX matrix (Rev. A24); the MD3060e enclosure matrix lists it as well. The other 1 TB parts on our site in this group, H0R8N and 98XDP, carry a different Seagate model (ST1000NM0085) on DT-series firmware, so check the model on the label as well as the Dell number. XWM1W is the 4 TB counterpart, Seagate ST4000NM0005, also listed on MS06.
