4XB7A17066 (feature code B8HT) is the ThinkSystem 3.5-inch PM1645a 800GB Mainstream SAS 12Gb hot-swap SSD. The PM1645a is a mainstream server SSD for mixed read and write workloads on a 12 Gbps SAS interface, with Samsung power-loss protection and end-to-end data protection.
The 800GB capacity reaches 230,000 random read IOPS and 90,000 random write IOPS with 4 KB blocks, plus 1,000 MBps sequential read and 1,000 MBps sequential write with 128 KB blocks. Random latency is 120 µs for reads and 45 µs for writes. Typical power is 9 W for both reads and writes.
Endurance is 3 drive writes per day over 5 years, with 4,380 TB total bytes written and an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours, and the drive has no SED encryption. Non-operating shock is 1,500 G at 0.5 ms and non-operating vibration is 20 G RMS from 10 to 2,000 Hz. The drive supports up to 16 initiators with a command queue depth of 128 and complies with the SAS-3 standard.
