4XB7A82288 is the ThinkSystem M.2 5400 PRO 960GB Read Intensive SATA 6Gb NHS SSD, Lenovo feature code BQ20. It is an M.2 2280 module (22 mm x 80 mm, 3.9 mm thick) with a 6 Gbps SATA interface and no hot-swap tray, based on the Micron 5400 PRO platform. The 2.5-inch hot-swap 960GB drive of the same family is 4XB7A82260.
Every 5400 PRO is a self-encrypting drive that complies with the TCG Enterprise Security Subsystem Class, uses AES 256-bit encryption, supports Sanitize Cryptographic Erase, and works with the SafeStore SED function of ThinkSystem RAID adapters. The flash is 176-layer 3D TLC NAND, and power-loss data management needs no supercapacitor.
At 960 GB the drive has an endurance of 1.5 DWPD for five years, which is 2628 TB written. It delivers 95,000 IOPS on 4 KB random reads and 33,000 IOPS on 4 KB random writes, with 540 MBps sequential reads and 520 MBps sequential writes on 128 KB blocks. Sequential read latency is 170 microseconds and write latency is 80 microseconds. MTTF is 3,000,000 hours, data reliability is better than 1 error in 10^17 bits read, and typical power is 2.8 W reading and 3.1 W writing.
