The 763838-B21 gives 3.2TB of NAND flash on a half-height, half-length PCIe card, the largest of the half-height cards in the Value Endurance line; the 6.4TB card moves to full height. It needs an x8 PCIe slot and is listed for ProLiant ML, DL and SL servers.
The endurance rating is 0.5 drive writes per day or 3.1PB written. Sequential speed is 2 GiB/s on reads and 0.98 GiB/s on writes. Access latency at 4KiB and queue depth 1 is 400 microseconds for reads and 35 for writes, noticeably slower on reads than the two smaller cards. Random 4KiB output at depth 16 is 46,000 read and 59,000 write IOPS, with peaks of 200,000 read IOPS at depth 128 and 86,000 write IOPS at depth 16. Power is 21W nominal.
It belongs to the Read Intensive class, which is built for web servers, cloud and database reads. A 3.2TB Read Intensive-2 card is the newer alternative, rated 0.6 drive writes per day and 3.6PB with 100 microsecond read latency. Different capacities can share a server. The board spare is 764127-001.
