Four-lane NVMe connectivity and MLC flash define this 1.92TB Read Intensive drive in the HPE Server SSD category. The body is SFF (2.5in), hot-plug, and it is fitted to the SCN carrier with digitally signed firmware.
Height measures 7 mm and idle power is 3.22 W for the 1.92TB model. Its endurance class tops out at 1 full drive write per day (DWPD), the Read Intensive ceiling.
Gen9 and Gen10 server platforms are the supported generations for this 1.92TB unit. Measured power is 3.63 W for random reads, 12.07 W for random writes, 4.52 W for sequential reads, 12.07 W for sequential writes and 6.52 W for mixed random read and write.
HPE SmartSSD Wear Gauge support reports how much life the 1.92TB unit has left, provided Smart Array firmware 5.0 or greater is running with the Array Configuration Utility or Diagnostic Utility. The family also carries full data path error detection and surprise power loss protection.
DWPD is defined as the maximum number of 4K host writes to the entire drive capacity per day over a five-year period. Smaller SFF versions are the 480GB 875587-B21 and the 960GB 875589-B21.
