B9F51B is the HPE rx2800 400GB SAS 12G Write Intensive SFF (2.5in) solid state drive with digitally signed firmware, an internal SSD option for the HPE Integrity rx2800 i4. The other SSD in the options is the 800GB B9F52B, and both are 12 Gb/s SAS Single Level Cell (SLC) drives in the 2.5-inch small form factor.
The server holds up to eight small form factor hot-plug drives, hard disk or solid state. They sit on the integrated HPE Smart Array P410i 6Gbps SAS RAID controller, which supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6 and 60. RAID 5 and RAID 5+0 need the 512MB FBWC kit (AM252A), and RAID 6 and RAID 6+0 need AM252A plus the Smart Array Advance Pack license (AM305A).
Factory RAID 0 needs at least 1 drive, RAID 1 at least 2 and RAID 5 at least 3, with identical drives across a selected RAID. Hard disk options for the same bays include the 600GB 15K B9F32B.
The spare number for B9F51B is 873562-001, a 400GB solid state drive with a SAS interface and 12Gb/sec transfer rate, write intensive, 2.5-inch small form factor, with digitally signed firmware.
