B9F52B is the HPE rx2800 800GB SAS 12G Write Intensive SFF (2.5in) solid state drive with digitally signed firmware, the larger of the two internal SSD options for the HPE Integrity rx2800 i4. The smaller one is the 400GB B9F51B. Both are 12 Gb/s SAS Single Level Cell (SLC) drives in the 2.5-inch small form factor.
Up to eight small form factor hot-plug hard disk drives or solid state drives fit the server, driven by the integrated HPE Smart Array P410i 6Gbps SAS RAID controller with support for RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6 and 60. The 512MB FBWC kit (AM252A) is a prerequisite for RAID 5 and RAID 5+0, and RAID 6 and RAID 6+0 call for AM252A together with the Smart Array Advance Pack license (AM305A).
A factory RAID 0 configuration requires 1 drive or more, RAID 1 requires 2 or more and RAID 5 requires 3 or more, and the drives in the RAID must all be identical.
Two spare numbers apply to B9F52B: 873572-001, an 800GB solid state drive with a SAS interface and 12Gb/sec transfer rate, write intensive, 2.5-inch small form factor, standard carrier and digitally signed firmware, and P01306-001, an 800GB 12G SFF SAS write intensive drive.
