802584-B21 is the HPE 800GB 12G SAS write intensive solid state drive in the 2.5-inch small form factor (SFF). It sits in the enterprise performance solid state drive tier of the blade options. The spare number is 802908-001, a 800GB SAS solid state drive with a 12Gb/s interface and a write intensive rating.
802584-B21 fits two blades, the HP Integrity BL860c i2 and the HP Integrity BL870c i2. Both blades use the integrated HP Smart Array P410i controller, and the SSD table supports two of these drives in positions 1 and 2. It is the largest of the three write intensive sizes.
The embedded Smart Array controller limits the performance of 6Gb and 12Gb disks in these blades. The other write intensive sizes for them are 802576-B21 (200GB) and 802580-B21 (400GB), the 800GB drive being the largest.
