C1101-4PLTEP is a Cisco 1100 Series Integrated Services Router with 4 GE copper LAN ports, 1 GE copper WAN port, a Micro-USB console, one Type A USB 3.0 port and one PIM slot for pluggable LTE or 5G modules. LTE categories CAT4, CAT6, CAT7 and CAT18 are available as pluggable modules, as are 5G modules. Pluggable 5G NSA needs release 17.9.2a or later and 5G SA needs 17.12.1a or later. FirstNet certification applies when it is fitted with the CAT18 module P-LTEAP18-GL.
The router has fixed 4 GB of flash and no embedded 802.11ac access point; the Wi-Fi version is the separate C1101-4PLTEPW model. Maximum encrypted throughput is 475 Mbps for a single IMIX tunnel. In SD-WAN mode, IPsec reaches 450 Mbps at 512 bytes, and the profile with IPsec, QoS, DPI and Flexible NetFlow reaches 400 Mbps. In autonomous mode, IPv4 forwarding reaches 1600 Mbps and IPsec reaches 500 Mbps at 512 bytes.
Autonomous-mode scale is 100 IPsec SVTI tunnels, 4K ACLs, 10K IPv4 ACEs, 280K IPv4 routes, 260K IPv6 routes, 100K NAT sessions and 1K VRFs, and SD-WAN mode supports 200 overlay tunnels with a minimum release of 17.5.1.
An external power supply takes 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz and outputs 12 VDC at up to 66 W, and the router draws a maximum of 21.8 W. The chassis measures 1.73 x 9.75 x 6.6 inches and weighs 3.34 lb (1.52 kg).
