C1300-48FP-4X is the Cisco Catalyst 1300 managed switch with 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports, all of them 30 W PoE+, and four 10G SFP+ uplinks. Cisco gives the PoE budget as 740 W across the 48 PoE ports, switching capacity as 176 Gbps and forwarding rate as 130.94 Mpps for 64-byte packets.
The chassis measures 444.3 x 350 x 43.94 mm (17.49 x 13.78 x 1.73 in) and weighs 5.16 kg (11.38 lb). Power comes from an internal universal supply for 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz. System-only draw is 49.89 W at 110 V and 49.03 W at 220 V; with the full PoE load it is 874.52 W at 110 V and 831.71 W at 220 V, and idle draw is 21.78 W at 110 V. Heat dissipation is 2,983.99 BTU/hr.
A single fan is rated at 48.7 dBA at 25 C. The shared packet buffer is 1.5 MB and the MTBF is 1,469,406 hours at 25 C. The operating range is -5 to 50 C (23 to 122 F). Cisco lists the model in the C1300 Family 1 stacking list, with up to eight units in a stack.
For comparison, Cisco rates the 48-port C1300-48P-4G at a 375 W PoE budget, while the C1300-48MGP-4X matches the 740 W budget of this model. The Cisco switches category also lists the Catalyst 1300 48-port PoE switch with 4 x 1G SFP uplinks.
