Cisco 921 Gigabit Ethernet Security Router with LTE Cat 4 and Internal Power Supply

C921-4PLTEGB is the Cisco 921 Gigabit Ethernet security router with an internal power supply and an LTE Cat 4 modem. It has 2 GE WAN ports, a 4-port GE managed switch for the LAN side, and one USB 2.0 port.

The modem is a WP7600-series form factor with one micro (3FF) SIM socket. LTE Cat 4 reaches 150 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up on bands 1, 3, 7, 8, 20 and 28, with fallback to UMTS and HSPA+ (bands 1, 5, 8), EDGE, GSM and GPRS (900/1800). SMS can be sent and received at up to 160 characters. One multiband swivel-mount dipole antenna, LTE-ANTM-SMA-D, is included, and a second one is recommended for 2x2 MIMO.

Memory is 1 GB DRAM and 2 GB flash, and the flash cannot be upgraded. The router runs Cisco IOS Software 15.8(3)M1 or later with IP Base as the default license and APP and SEC as options. It is sized for 50 users and 50 IPsec tunnels, with IPsec performance up to 250 Mbps under the SEC license.

The internal supply takes 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz. The unit measures 1.70 x 9.0 x 9.5 in (4.32 x 22.86 x 24.13 cm) with rubber feet and weighs up to 2.65 lb (1.20 kg). Rack-mount kit ACS-900-RM-19(=) and under-desk kit ACS-900-DM(=) both fit. The C921-4P is the non-LTE router in the same 921 family.
