The Cisco C9K-PWR-1600WAC-R is a 1600 W AC power supply for the Catalyst 9500 Series, matched to the C9500-32C. It accepts 90 to 140 VAC and 180 to 264 VAC at 47 to 63 Hz through an IEC 60320 C16 inlet rated 15 A, with a typical efficiency of 94 percent.
Maximum input current is 10.5 A at 115 VAC (1050 W) and 7.8 A at 230 VAC (1600 W). Outputs are 12 V main at 133 A and 12 V standby at 3 A, and system holdup time is 20 ms minimum.
Catalyst 9500 switches run dual 1+1 redundant power supplies, with one supply fitted by default, and a single supply belongs in bay 1. A C9500-32C with this supply is rated at 3,631 BTU/hr. The DC counterpart is the C9K-PWR-1600WDC-R, with a -40 to -72 VDC input range, 92 percent typical efficiency and a 40 A maximum input at -48 VDC.
