Cisco IP Phone 8845 Video Phone

Cisco lists the CP-8845-K9 as the charcoal Cisco IP Phone 8845, with a 5-inch, 800 x 480 WVGA backlit color display and 720p HD two-way video using H.264/AVC. The white phone is CP-8845-W-K9. It has five programmable line keys with multicall per line, plus dedicated Hold/Resume, Transfer, Conference, Messaging, Application and Directory keys.

It has a two-port Ethernet switch (10/100/1000BASE-T, RJ-45) for the phone and a PC, an RJ-9 handset port, an RJ-9 analog headset jack, an AUX port for electronic hookswitch control with a third-party headset and a Kensington security slot. Bluetooth is 4.1 LE and EDR Class 1, up to about 20 m (66 ft), with the Hands-Free and Phone Book Access profiles.

Power is IEEE PoE Class 2, compatible with 802.3af and 802.3at, with CDP and LLDP-PoE. The optional Cisco Power Cube 4 (48V DC) is for sites without PoE. The phone measures 9.01 x 10.13 x 3.87 in (228.78 x 257.34 x 98.39 mm) without the foot stand and weighs 2.97 lb (1.35 kg) with the handset. It has a two-position foot stand (35 and 50 degrees), a wall-mount kit is optional, and a black bezel is included with a silver bezel ordered separately.

Connecting to Cisco Unified Communications Manager requires an Enhanced User Connect License.

Cisco set July 27, 2024 as the end-of-sale date for the CP-8845-K9 and July 31, 2029 as the last date of support, and named the CP-8865-K9 as the replacement.
