3YPRY is the Dell part number for a 400GB 12Gb/s SAS 2.5 inch SSD built on the Toshiba KPM5XVUG400G. The KPM5X prefix marks the Sanitize Instant Erase model of the 400 GB KIOXIA PM5-V, a mixed use drive meant for SQL server, media streaming, data warehousing and web services.
The PM5-V is a fifth generation SAS SSD with 64-layer BiCS FLASH TLC memory and a SAS-3.0 interface that links at 12.0, 6.0, 3.0 or 1.5 Gbit/s, in single or dual port mode. At 400 GB the sustained 128 KiB sequential read is 1,470 MB/s and the sequential write is 680 MB/s. In dual port mode, 4 KiB random read reaches 180K IOPS and 4 KiB random write reaches 70K IOPS. Endurance is 3 DWPD.
Power-loss protection, T10 DIF end-to-end data protection and T10 Multi-Stream Write are supported. Typical power is 5.0 W, MTTF is 2,500,000 hours, and the 2.5 inch case is 15.0 mm high with a 130 g maximum weight. Operating temperature is 0 to 60 C.
