This PN provides one 3.5 inch Large Form Factor (LFF) 3TB Hot Swappable Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 7200 RPM HDD (Hard Disk Drive) This Dell CWJ92 drive is compatible with the Dell EMC PowerVault MD34XX/38XX Series.
Compatibility and specifications
CWJ92 is the HGST (Hitachi) Ultrastar 7K3000 HUS723030ALS640, a 3 TB, 7,200 RPM, 3.5-inch drive with a 6Gb/s SAS interface and 64 MB buffer; HGST's model key reads the final 0 as no encryption, and the SAS models support 512, 520 and 528-byte sectors. HGST rates it at 166 MB/s typical sustained transfer, 7.6 ms typical read seek and 2.0 million hours MTBF. Dell lists CWJ92 with firmware M440 in both the MD34XX/38XX (Rev. A25) and MD32XX/36XX (Rev. A24) matrices; it is not in the MD3060e enclosure matrix, while the 6 TB PYM8J (Ultrastar 7K6000) is.
