GLC-FE-100LX-RGD is the Cisco rugged 100BASE-LX10 SFP for Fast Ethernet. It runs at 1310 nm over single-mode fiber with a dual LC connector and reaches 10 km (32,810 ft).
Cisco rates it for the industrial temperature range of -40 to 85 C. Its transmit level is -15 to -8 dBm and its receive level is -28 to -8 dBm. Cisco names Fast Ethernet and dual-rate Fast/Gigabit Ethernet ports on Cisco Industrial Ethernet and SmartGrid switches and routers as its hosts, and gives a minimum cable distance of 2 m (6.5 ft).
The same Fast Ethernet SFP range includes GLC-FE-100LX, the 10 km single-mode module rated -5 to 85 C, and GLC-FE-100FX-RGD, the rugged multimode module that reaches 2 km over -40 to 85 C. For longer single-mode links Cisco lists GLC-FE-100EX at 40 km and GLC-FE-100ZX at 80 km.
