H6GCD: Dell 800GB 2.5 inch SSD Kioxia KPM6XMUG800G

Dell part number H6GCD is an 800GB 2.5-inch SSD with 512e sector format and no self-encryption. Dell MD1400 and MD1420 enclosures support it as Kioxia KPM6XMUG800G, with firmware BA0D.

KPM6XMUG800G is the 800 GB Sanitize Instant Erase model in Kioxia's PM6-M range. PM6-M is the write-intensive tier of the 6th-generation 24G SAS family, built on 96-layer BiCS FLASH TLC for OLTP, e-commerce and other mission-critical, hyperscale or virtualized loads.

At 800 GB the drive sustains 2,700 MB/s of 128 KiB sequential write and 466K IOPS of 4 KiB random write, next to 4,150 MB/s sequential read and 595K IOPS random read (dual-port mode). Its endurance class is 10 drive writes per day under a 100 percent random write load, and MTTF is 2,500,000 hours.

Kioxia builds it as a 2.5-inch, 15 mm drive, 69.85 mm wide and up to 100.45 mm long, at most 130 g and 5 W typical when ready. Single- or dual-port 24G SAS (down to 1.5 Gbit/s), power loss protection and T10 DIF end-to-end data protection are standard.
