IBM feature #ACMF is the 800GB 2.5 Inch Flash Drive for the IBM Storwize V3700, machine type 2072. It is available for the SFF Dual Control Enclosure (24C), the SFF Expansion Enclosure (24E) and the DC power versions of both, the SFF DC Dual Control Enclosure (2DC) and the SFF DC Expansion Enclosure (2DE), and it is installed at the plant or in the field.
The V3700 supports 2.5-inch flash drives in 200 GB, 400 GB and 800 GB, and #ACMD, #ACME and #ACMF are the three flash drive features. The drive is dual-port and hot-swappable. The SFF models have twenty-four slots for 2.5-inch SAS drives, and flash drives can be intermixed with disk drives of the same form factor in an enclosure.
A V3700 system scales to 240 drives with nine expansion enclosures. Easy Tier moves frequently accessed data to the flash drives in the system, and configurations with more than five SSDs are candidates for the Turbo performance licensed function, which raises the maximum IOPS of the system.
