IE-1000-8P2S-LM is a Cisco Industrial Ethernet 1000 Series switch with ten ports in total: eight PoE-capable 10/100 copper downlinks and two Gigabit SFP uplink slots. The SFP slots provide full-duplex 100 or 1000 Mb/s connectivity, and there are no copper uplinks.
The PoE budget is 180 W, and the entire power budget for the switch and PoE ports has to stay within the capacity of the power supply. Input is 48-54 V, and the switch itself draws 10.6 W without PoE load.
The unit measures 5.0 x 1.8 x 5.3 in. (127 x 45.7 x 134 mm) including the DIN rail clip and weighs 1.85 lb (0.84 kg). Cisco rates operation from -40 to 70 C in a vented enclosure, -40 to 60 C in a sealed enclosure, and -34 to 75 C with a fan or blower.
The IE 1000 Series is lightly managed through a web GUI and carries 128 MB of DDR2 DRAM without ECC and 160 MB of onboard flash.
