This is the Lenovo Storage 10TB 7.2K rpm 3.5-inch NL-SAS hard drive, feature code AU3S (option 01DC626). It is a nearline drive for the large-form-factor (LFF) enclosures of the ThinkSystem DS Series storage arrays, not a server drive.
Lenovo Press lists it in the drive options of the DS2200, DS4200 and DS6200 storage arrays, with up to 12 per LFF enclosure. The DS2200 guide states that the array uses 12 Gb SAS on the drive side and scales with DS Series LFF expansion units.
The 10TB nearline drive is the capacity tier of these arrays; the DS2200 guide lists it alongside other LFF NL-SAS and SAS options. The DS2200 guide also notes that self-encrypting drives cannot be intermixed with non-encrypting drives, so check the existing drives before adding this one to an array that uses SEDs.
Lenovo Press marks the DS2200 as withdrawn from marketing, so this drive is now a replacement or expansion part for installed arrays. To confirm fit, check that the array or expansion unit is a DS2200, DS4200 or DS6200 LFF (12-bay) model and that its other drives are non-SED NL-SAS of the same capacity if they form one pool.
