Cisco Nexus 93180YC-EX Switch, 24 Ports Enabled

N9K-C93180YC-EX-24 is the Nexus 93180YC-EX with 24 downlink ports enabled. The switch is a 1RU fixed unit with 48 1/10/25G fiber SFP downlinks and 6 40/100G QSFP28 uplinks; the licence on this model covers any 24 of the 48 downlinks, and all 6 uplinks are enabled by default. Cisco lists the N9K-EX-24P-UPG= as the 48-port upgrade licence.

Cisco gives latency under 1 microsecond. System memory is 24 GB with a 64 GB SSD and a 40 MB system buffer, on a 4-core CPU. Management is one RJ-45 and one SFP port, with a USB port and an RS-232 serial port.

It takes up to two hot-swappable power supplies, rated 500 W AC, 930 W DC or 1200 W HVAC/HVDC, and has four fans with port-side intake and exhaust airflow options. Typical power draw is 210 W and maximum is 470 W. The unit measures 1.72 x 17.3 x 22.5 inches and weighs 17.2 lb (7.8 kg) without power supplies or fans. Fan noise is 48.5 dBA at 40 percent fan speed, 64.9 dBA at 70 percent and 77.8 dBA at 100 percent, and Cisco gives an MTBF of 390,330 hours.
