R4H17A is the HPE Aruba Networking AP-575 (RW) 802.11ax 2x2/4x4 Dual Radio Integrated Omni Antennas Outdoor AP, the rest-of-world regulatory version of the AP-575. Its two radios run 4x4 MIMO on 5 GHz and 2x2 MIMO on 2.4 GHz. Built-in omnidirectional antennas have 5 dBi gain on 5 GHz and 3.4 dBi on 2.4 GHz, and the maximum EIRP is 32.6 dBm on 5 GHz and 29.0 dBm on 2.4 GHz.
Data rates reach 4.8 Gbps to a single 4SS HE160 client on 5 GHz and 575 Mbps to a 2SS HE40 client on 2.4 GHz. Each radio handles up to 512 associated clients and 16 BSSIDs. An integrated Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 radio supports Zigbee, with a 6 dBi peak-gain antenna.
The wired side has an E0 SmartRate RJ-45 port at 100/1000/2500BASE-T and an E1 100/1000BASE-T port, both able to take 802.3at or 802.3bt PoE. A single class 4 feed with power monitoring running powers the unit, a dual-port feed draws up to 32.0 W at worst case, and idle draw is 14.0 W on one feed. The two ports support LACP, and a USB-C console is built in.
The weatherproof body is IP66/67 rated, tested to 200 hours of salt spray, withstands wind up to 165 mph and operates from -40°C to +65°C with full solar loading. It measures 24 x 24 x 27 cm (9.4 x 9.4 x 10.6 in) and weighs 2.5 kg (5.6 lb) without a mount. Mounting brackets such as the AP-OUT-MNT-V1A pole kit R9H97A are separate parts, and the regulatory model is APEX0575.
