SFP-H10GB-CU1M is the Cisco 10GBASE-CU SFP+ cable in the 1 meter length. Cisco describes it as a passive twinax copper cable assembly built from 30AWG cable, with an SFP+ end on each side for short links between 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
Cisco gives its maximum power consumption as 0.1 W and its operating temperature as the commercial range of 0 to 70 C. The bail latch is beige. Cisco states that only version -02 and later of this cable is qualified on all Cisco platforms, so the version on the label matters when it is paired with older hosts.
Cisco lists the rest of the passive range in the same table: SFP-H10GB-CU1-5M at 1.5 m (black latch), SFP-H10GB-CU2M at 2 m (brown), SFP-H10GB-CU2-5M at 2.5 m (yellow), SFP-H10GB-CU3M at 3 m (orange), SFP-H10GB-CU4M at 4 m (green, 24AWG or 26AWG) and SFP-H10GB-CU5M at 5 m (gray, 24AWG or 26AWG). Two active cables extend the reach: SFP-H10GB-ACU7M at 7 m and SFP-H10GB-ACU10M at 10 m, both drawing 1 W. The copper cable jacket is listed as UL E116441 compliant.
More 10G cabling and optics are in the Cisco modules category, including the SFP-H10GB-CU3M 3 m twinax cable and the SFP-10G-SR optical module.
