The Cisco UCSC-C240-M3S is the UCS C240 M3 small form factor rack server base: a 2U, two-socket Intel Xeon E5-2600 or E5-2600 v2 chassis with 24 DIMM slots and 24 hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays, supplied without CPUs, memory, drives, power supplies or PCIe cards.
Where it fits: storage-heavy Cisco UCS rack deployments (virtualization, big data, collaboration) run standalone or managed through UCS Manager. Tell us the processors, memory, drives and power supplies you plan to install and we confirm compatible parts with your quote.
