This V3700 holds up to 60 drives by adding four enclosures with 12 drives in each.
Hard Drive Compatibility:
3.5 inch drives are compatible with the Storwize V3700 LFF control & expansion enclosures (2072-L2C and 2072LEU)
The Storwize V3700 LFF expansion enclosure (model 2072-12E) adds twelve 3.5-inch drive bays to a Storwize V3700 system in a 2U rack-mount chassis. It provides two SAS ports per expansion canister and two redundant power supply units.
