817738-B21 is HPE's Ethernet 10Gb 2-port BASE-T X550-AT2 Adapter, a stand-up PCIe card on Intel's X550-AT2 controller. PartSurfer lists the service spare as 840137-001, which it names the Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 562T adapter, with dual 10Gb ports providing up to 40 Gb/s of bidirectional bandwidth. The FlexibleLOM version of the same design is the 562FLR-T, 817745-B21.
The DL560 Gen10 QuickSpecs lists it among the server's stand-up network options, and HPE's DX4200 Gen10 QuickSpecs lists it as the standalone version of a DX adapter. PartSurfer shows the spare in ML350 Gen10, DL360 and DL380 Gen10, and DL560 Gen10 builds, and lists it among the adapter spares for the ML350 Gen10 CTO server.
A stand-up card fits any suitable PCIe slot, for servers whose FlexibleLOM slot is already used or that have none. Two 10GBASE-T RJ-45 ports run over copper twisted-pair cabling and connect to 10GBASE-T switch ports rather than SFP+.
Before ordering, check that a PCIe slot with enough lanes is free and that the server's QuickSpecs lists the adapter. Gen10 Plus and later servers list different 10GBASE-T adapters, such as Broadcom BCM57416 cards.
