Meraki lists the MS425-16-HW in its MS400 Medium class as the MS425-16, a 1U cloud-managed aggregation switch with 16 x 10GbE SFP+ ports, 2 x 40GbE QSFP+ uplink and stacking ports and one dedicated management interface. It supports Layer 3 routing.
Switching capacity is 480 Gbps and stacking bandwidth is 160 Gbps. Maximum MTU is 9416 bytes, though Meraki says to use 9394 when configuring from the Dashboard. Power comes from dual hot-swappable 250 W AC supplies, with a load of 98 W idle and 136 W at maximum, and three hot-swappable fans cool the unit.
The MS425-16 measures 1.72 x 19 x 20.67 in (4.42 x 48.44 x 48.69 cm) and weighs 13.7 lb (6.2 kg). Operating range is 0 to 40 C at 5 to 95 percent humidity.
The MS425-32 is the larger sibling. It has 32 SFP+ ports against 16, switches 800 Gbps against 480 Gbps and weighs 14.00 lb (6.35 kg). Power, fans, QSFP+ ports, stacking bandwidth, Layer 3 and dimensions are the same on both.
Related hardware is on the Cisco switches page, including the MA-MOD-8X10G Meraki 8 x 10G uplink module.
